Mercurii’s oc Velvet Scarlet, a gray skinned vampire fey with pointy ears that have cherry shaped earring dangling from them, and dark red hair wearing a wide brimmed white hat with cherry like ornaments on it while also a white crop top coat with puffy sleeves and a heart shaped opening on the chest, a black dress with a red triangle on the sides with thigh highs that have a red trim, and start white at the top but transition to red the closer to the feet area they are. She also has red irises with slit vampire pupils. Velvet is making a cutting motion with her right hand and elongated nails that cuts through two human silhouettes in the background leaving a stylized red trail as the hand and its sharpened red nails move. The background has a dynamic pink on the top and bottom that lean towards each other as they get closer to the right side of the drawing with a purple section of color between them to give the appearance of a simplified pink floor and ceiling / sky. A shadow is cast over Velvet’s eyes from her wide-brimmed hat, leaving just her glowing red irises and slit pupils. The shadows in the drawing are done in a stark simple black.

Same as the last image except Velvet is sparkling. The sparkles have movement lines to show that they are in motion with Velvet as she whirls around.

Same as the last image (2) except one of the sparkles is placed over Velvet’s left eye.

Same as the first drawing (1), except the shading is somewhat transparent.

Same as the first drawing (1), except the human silhouettes in the backgrounds are gone.

Same as the previous drawing (5), except Velvet has the sparkles again.

Same as the first drawing (1), except the red trail left by Velvet’s right hand moving is no longer relegated to the background, and is now rendered partially transparent as it is overlaid on top of Velvet’s body.

Same as the last image (7) except the human silhouette in the background is gone.

Same as variation 7 except Velvet is sparkling again.

Same as the previous image (9), except Velvet’s left eye sparkles with a glint.

Same as variation 7 of the drawing, except it is more opaque and brighter, albeit still somewhat transparent.

A version of the drawing where the red slash is completely opaque and even leaves an area of Velvet’s face and hat red as the trail of movement passes through that area.

A version of the drawing that’s like the first (1) except the red slash is removed and there are no human silhouettes in the background.

Same as the last image (13), except the sparkles are back.

Same as the last image (14), except Velvet has the glint in her left eye again.

Same as the 13th variation of the drawing, except the shadows are rendered partially transparent.

A version of the previous drawing (16)  except the shading is completely gone.

Colored flats of the drawing with no shading or shining surfaces.

A version of the first drawing (1) except the left side of the pink “ceiling” of the background suddenly bends much more sharply towards the simplified “floor” although it never touches it.

A version of the drawing in which the black shading is opaque but Velvet and the red slash are not. The background is replaced by the paper I draw the original sketch on.

Same as the last image (20), except there is no red slash.

Same as the last image (21), except the shadows are somewhat transparent.

Same as the last image (22), except there are no colors, so it is just digital lines and completely opaque shading overlaid over the original paper sketch.

Same as the last image (23), except the somewhat transparent red slash is back.

Same as the last image (24), except the shading and red slash are completely gone, leaving just the digital lines and paper underneath.

Same as the second version of the drawing (2) except the purple part of the background is replaced with the paper of the original sketch, and the red slash is slightly transparent and over Velvet’s hand.

The original paper sketch and rough draft of the drawing.
