1. My OC Blake is a Black man with brown skin that’s on the lighter side and a stove top haircut made of brownish red hair, and he has hairy eyebrows of the same color. A line from the bottom of his sideburns up is dyed black. Blake is looking at the camera with his split tongue out. His left hand is raised and emanating a dark gray aura. His nails are long and sharp, plus he has an ominous ring on each of his fingers that resemble spines curling around each of his digits. His right arm ends in a hook and gleams as it tears away bandages from around Blake’s left arm and hand. Over the bandages on Blake’s body, he wears a black jacket. While his right arm is through the jacket’s sleeve, his left arm is not through its respective sleeve. Leaving the jacket dangling half off him. Blake is also wearing a purple scarf that billows in the wind. The environment is clearly that of Heaven’s arena with a white tiled floor that’s damaged and cracked in addition to two tall pillar-like torches behind him on either side with a spiraling pattern of blue and white. “HEAVEN’S ARENA” is plastered in big blue letters on a wall behind him (although he partially obscures it). On top of the wall is a crowd of people, including my other OCs Lily, Viola, Adam, and Chloe.

2: A spaceship flying through space from a dying Earth towards the maws of a malicious looking planet with an orange skull-like face full of yellow teeth. The sclera of its eyes alternate between waves of yellow and pink while blood spills out of its mouth and other openings in its body. The Earth is half shoved into a bottle.

1: A symbolic self portrait of me at a table drawing something. My mouth is replaced with a beak holding a pencil with a bee at its tip, and my eyes are large with sclera made pink from lack of sleep. I’m wearing glasses and the top of my head has a large crack revealing my brain amongst my receding hairline and black hair, a bit of blood drips out of said crack. Around my shoulders is the gray wool of a sheep, with my right shoulder having a tired looking sheep’s head. My red sleeved left arm is erasing something on the drawing while my blue sleeved right arm is steadying me against the table, with its palm flat against it. On my left arm is a squawking parrot. On the left portion of the table I’m drawing on is a laptop and balls of crumpled paper. The actual drawing has two ravens with a lantern above the two of them. At the bottom right corner of the paper is the roman numeral for 9 (IX). Under the table is a black poodle on my right and a yellow poodle on my left representing my two pet dogs. Between them is a glowing screen of some sort. Behind me are two open curtains, a red one to my right, and blue one to my left, revealing a window that looks like it’s made of 4 Ipads. From the viewer’s left and top to bottom there is: the capricorn constellation, a crescent moon, stars, and the symbol for capricorn.

1: A torn piece of paper that is trisected into 3 “frames” by masking tape. The leftmost painting is a blue gem with a diamond cut between two branches. Around it there is an area with no paint which, thanks to the white paper, gives the illusion of a glowing effect against the blue background within the picture. The center image depicts a cotton plant. While the stem and sky are depicted using green and blue paint respectively, the cotton of the plant is rendered using the white space of the paper (by leaving the area blank). The rightmost drawing is upside down but depicts a sun rising over a green landscape in a blue sky. The sun’s shape is implied by simply using the white of the paper to create a shape with no paint.
