Artfight (2025) 7: Petrel’s Pipebomb
I don’t know if Pipebomb knows the move Explosion, but he IS named Pipebomb for a reason right? I tried to avoid some of the more gruesome or painful depictions of a Pokemon using Explosion by just having Pipebomb releasing a powerful explosion, as opposed to blowing himself to bits or something. 1: An Artfight attack I did on Petrel’s Pipebomb. Pipebomb is a shiny version of the Pokemon Weezing that is blue with vibrant pink / purple eyebrows and symbols of the same color on his chest. His smaller head wears a golden / yellow crown. In the drawing itself, Petrel is releasing a powerful fiery explosion from both his mouths as rays of light fire out from the pores on his body in every direction, while the bigger head holds an angry expression. In the background on the drawing’s left the design for my regional Koffing can be seen. It is a green Koffing that has flowers in the place of bumps, and it holds a much more jovial and happy expression as light pours out of the center of its flowers. A glob of snot hangs from its nose, and its mouth glows orange with energy. On its chest is a pattern that resembles a skill surrounded by petals. The foreground is lined with an extremely dark purple smoke, and the background has a rainbow collaboration exploding outwards that’s meant to invoke Pipebomb’s rainbow colored smoke. The shadows on Pipebomb and Koffing are rendered in a stark black.

12: A version of the second drawing (2) in which the shadows on Koffing and Pipebomb are rendered partially transparent while both them and the smoke in the foreground is tinted orange from the light of Koffing and Weezing’s explosion and light.
13: The same as the last drawing (12), except the shadows are opaque and the eyes of Pipebomb and Koffing have visible shines on them.
14: A version of the 2nd variation (2) but Pipebomb and Koffing have the reflections in their eyes from the last drawing.
15: A flat version of the drawing with no shadows or lighting, but beams of light can still be seen emerging from Pipebomb and Koffing. Additionally, the smoke in the foreground has been removed.
16: A replica of the 1st version of the drawing (1), except Pipebomb’s crown has a reflective surface / shine.
17: The same as the last image (16), except the explosions cast an orange glow over the unshaded parts of the drawing.
